This 1990 Volkswagen Bus “Vanagon” is a Brazilian market Volkswagen imported into the United States a few years ago. Upon its arrival in the United States, the current owners commissioned a full frame of restoration consisting of complete engine and transmission refresh a suspension, refresh, full exterior paint and interior reupholstery and rehabilitation. The interior is made to provide the utmost coziness and comfort in any camping experience featuring a working sink, a working refrigerator (both to be powered by an external generator). The powertrain is the original air cooled four-cylinder, rear mounted, mated to a four speed manual transmission. It has power drum brakes in all four corners for stopping power. The camping conversion was done by Bob Iser and the total restoration cost of this van exceeds $100,000.
Included in the Bob Iser camper kit, is a raising center roof piece to increase headroom a coffee table that is completely disassemble for driving two couches, the refrigerator, the sink, and the plugs for the external generator. It also comes with a set of matching tea cups and a Volkswagen branded gas powered portable grill.
This van is a turn key example, ready to go on any camping trip both in the wilderness or on the beach.
