VP C45 is a highly oxygenated blend that we design specifically for naturally aspirated engines. It works best with fuel injection by offering maximum power above all others. When tuned correctly, C45 race fuel will handle up to 16:1 compression. We recommend pulling a couple of degrees of timing upon the first test/tune because of the fuel’s 108 motor octane rating. VP C45 requires approximately 4 to 6 percent more fuel than VP Q16. Therefore, a purpose-built carburetor will most likely be needed.
