Designed for seaside resorts, coastal villages, and leisurely summer drives, the Jolly transformed Fiat’s iconic 500 into one of the most charming and recognizable automobiles of its era.
Created in collaboration with renowned Italian coachbuilder Ghia, the Fiat Jolly was designed for owners who valued style, simplicity, and open-air enjoyment. Its roofless design, open sides, and unmistakable character made it closely associated with the Italian Riviera and Mediterranean resorts, embodying the spirit of dolce vita.
This 1965 Fiat 500 presented in Jolly configuration was restored in Italy and later imported to the United States. Finished in attractive Powder Blue, it captures the distinctive appearance and character that have made the Fiat Jolly so desirable among collectors and enthusiasts.
The car is accompanied by Italian import documentation, a New York Registration showing its a "Fiat 500 Jolly" and photographs documenting the restoration process.
The restoration included the replacement or professional refurbishment of numerous components. The body presents beautifully with no visible rust or rot, while the gauges, lighting, and essential functions operate properly.
Power comes from an original-style 500cc higher-compression engine paired with a four-speed gearbox. Approximately 2,000 kilometers have been traveled since the restoration, and the car runs and drives very well.
The cabin features a replacement white woven interior that complements the Powder Blue exterior. A luggage rack with matching picnic basket adds to the car’s period-inspired coastal character.
